The Astros Foundation in partnership with the Houston Hispanic Forum need 50 volunteers to help at the Houston Hispanic Forum's 32nd Annual Career and Education Day; a free event that provides all things career exploration and post-secondary pathways for students and families. This event allows students the opportunity to meet with career professionals and learn about the steps they took to succeed. Students also learn about college admission, financial aid, scholarships, and speak with representatives from various colleges and universities.
Duties include: setup, greet students, control panel discussions, assist with registration and social media lounge, exhibit hall assistance
Location: George R. Brown, 3rd Level
Parking: Parking is available in the GRB garage and on the side of the street. Free METRO will be provided at the day of the event.
Dress Code: Casual dress, long pants (preferred); a Foundation t-shirt will be provided (if new to the volunteer corps)
