VOLUNTEER AT THE TEXAS CHILDREN'S HOUSTON OPEN
Each year, we look for 2,000 volunteers to join our team during tournament week at Memorial Park Golf Course. Volunteers are essential for the success of the Texas Children's Houston Open and directly impact the dollars raised for local charities in our community. Please help us give back to the community and become a volunteer.

  • Register as a general volunteer and select a non-private committee.  Once the registration process is complete, enter the code in the promotional code box at checkout.

REQUIREMENTS

All volunteers must register through the volunteer portal (see above link) and will need to submit a criminal background check (if 18 years or older) through Sterling Volunteers when registering. Sterling Volunteers is linked to the registration system. All fees are covered by the Astros Golf Foundation. Volunteers will be disqualified from participating if a background check is not submitted.

Each committee has different hour requirements and restrictions. Please review the committee descriptions before registering.

For security purposes, a clear headshot is required for registration. Pictures should be taken in front of a solid-colored background without a hat, sunglasses, or other items obstructing your face. Please do not submit a photo with another person in it or a picture of a picture.

Volunteers are required to purchase the volunteer package for $65. For more details, please visit our volunteer package information tab.

• Levelwear Golf Shirt
• Levelwear Pullover
• Levelwear Cap
• Official credential which allows entry into the tournament all week
• Complimentary parking and shuttling to and from Memorial Park
• Boxed lunch during your scheduled volunteer shifts
• Invitation to the Volunteer Party
• Four (4) complimentary Texas Children’s Houston Open tickets
