Digs With Dignity is a Chicago-based non-profit whose mission is to elevate the lives of those transitioning from homelessness by filling their houses with everything that makes a comfortable, dignified home. The organization partners with social service agencies to identify those in need and utilizes a warehouse of donated and refurbished furniture and home goods to outfit homes.

Volunteer Notes
Volunteers will sort through warehouse donations and select furniture, linens, and household items to match the client's wish list. Light furniture repairs and reupholstering might be included (and guided by in-house woodworker). This project is limited to volunteers 18 years of age and older.
